You're here because you want to know
more about IMC. If you provide advice to business
executives and managers, your effectiveness as a consultant and
profitability as a business depends on your ability to continually
sharpen your consulting skills, business knowledge, and practice
management.
IMC USA
is the premier professional association for management consultants.
Founded in 1968,
the Institute of Management Consultants USA, Inc. (IMC USA) is the
national professional association representing management
consultants and awarding the CMC
(Certified Management Consultant)
certification mark.
The IMC
USA Mission is: To promote excellence and ethics in management
consulting through certification, education and professional resources.
IMC USA is part of the global community of institutes that certifies
management consultants according to the strict international
standards of the International Council of Management
Consulting Institutes
(ICMCI).
We
hope you will come to an IMC NCR meeting or two in the near future to
'get to know us'. It's a welcoming group of people. We have two
great meetings coming up -- perfect for anyone venturing into
consulting, needing to hire a consultant, or furthering your skills
in leading groups.
IMC NCR members make up a
diverse, experienced virtual consulting firm.
IMC NCR is the IMC USA
chapter for management consultants in the Washington, DC region (MD,
DC, and VA), providing value to both your consulting firm and
individual consultants. There are three reasons people join
professional associations - to Get Smart, Get Friends, and Get
Business. Already 120 members strong, IMC NCR is the fastest growing
of the 26 IMC USA chapters because we deliver these values to our
members.
IMC NCR members practice in strategy,
information technology, organizational development, executive
coaching, benchmarking, performance measurement, market research,
finance, diversity strategies, knowledge management, project
management, risk management, public sector and non profit
management, ISO/Baldrige/Six Sigma and other processes, leadership
development, turnarounds, survey research, operations planning, and
international development.
Our member's practice scope
ranges from local to global, their business role ranges from
solo practitioner to large firm partner, their business
experience ranges from brand new to consulting to almost 50
years, and their industries range from health care to
manufacturing to trade associations to professional services. If you
are ready to become a member of this fast growing "consulting firm,"
then you can join IMC
online.
